Scipione’s Charter Fishing is located in Lewiston. Fishing mainly in the lower Niagara river, Lake Ontario, and the Niagara bar. We also fish the upper Niagara river and Lake Erie, depending on the time of year and current weather.
Capt. David Scipione has been fishing the Niagara region his whole life. He is here to put you ON the fish, and to make sure you have the most fun possible while doing it! You'll be using techniques like drift fishing, jigging, trolling, and spinning, depending on what you're going after. As part of their 4 to 6-hour trips, you can target species like Lake Trout, Brown Trout, Salmon, Rainbow Trout/Steelhead, Bass, and Walleye, depending on the current season and weather conditions.
You'll be fishing from a 21' Lund boat with enough room for up to 3 anglers at any single time.
We also have a 31' Pursuit 3000 offshore available for salmon fishing lake Ontario. Accomodates up to 6 anglers. Please inquire for info about this trip.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Don't forget to buy a fishing license before the trip!
You'll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip.
Children as young as 8 years old are welcome aboard, so you’re good to get the young ones started early.

This trip was amazing from start to finish. Captain Dave put us on the fish right from the first line in the water. We were 18 of 22 with 15 King Salmon, 2 smallmouth bass, and a brown trout. The boat is well maintained and the fishing equipment was top notch. Captain Dave is very personable and extremely knowledgeable on the Niagara fisheries. If you plan on doing this trip get the 1 day Canadian license as well and make sure it’s with Scipione Charters. All our Kings were in Canadian waters.

My wife and I had a great day, the captain was super friendly, profesional and very knowledgeable of the river. We tried diferent techniques and had sucess with rainbow trouts. we definetly recommend it and we will book with him again next time.

Whether you are just looking to have a fun day of fishing on the water or you want to learn more about how to successfully fish our incredibly unique fishery, I am here to help you! There are not many other places on earth where freshwater fishing is this diverse and available 365 days a year! All within about 20 miles... we have two great lakes (Erie and Ontario) and two world-class rivers ( Upper and Lower Niagara). Year after year people come back because they just can't believe the size (and numbers) of freshwater fish we catch here in the Niagara region. And THAT my friends is what drives me to want to work in this business.
