A very nice day of fishing
3/4 Day Trip - Gulf offshore on May 2, 2025
Thanks to our captain Peter who was very professional, took us to different spots and taught us how to fish with the greatest kindness. We had a great day with him and caught an incredible amount of fish (king mackerel, snapper, grant, barracuda, grouper...). Peter even took the time to clean and prepare the fish when we returned. It was a real pleasure! We recommend him without a shadow of a doubt.

Captain Pete was great. My son randomly mentioned he would love a barracuda... and we left with my son realing in a barracuda. Best thing ever! Very knowledgeable, polity, easy going. Great job Captain! Thank you for a great fishing time for my son!

3/4 Day Trip - Gulf offshore on July 18, 2024
Captain Peter was excellent. He had us on fish with minutes of getting to the first spot. When the fishing slowed, he was prompt to move to another place, where we proceeded to catch more fish. Caught multiple species, and many keepers ( if you wanted to eat the catch which we did). We had an absolute blast. I am planning on booking with him again the next time we come down in the fall or spring. He did a great job captaining, and guiding as well as cleaning and preparing the catch for transport. Can't wait to come back.

We had a memorable experience with Playin Hookey Charter off the coast of Venice/Nakomis. Our captain did everything possible to maximize our time with bait in the water and all four of us caught an abundance of fish with an interesting variety of species. We took home enough for a large meal and some left over. I highly recommend this service.
