We were a group of 4 ladies (2 adults and 2 teens), only one of us had really fished before, and we had a blast!  Our captain had us pulling up red snapper the minute we anchored and dropped our lines!  Wonderful full service, the captain took care of everything and we had a ton of fun.  We brought home enough fish to eat for days and even share with some friends.  We’d love to come back and do some more fishing with him again sometime.  100% recommend!

My girlfriend’s father and I took this trip spontaneously just to do something while visiting Englewood! Found “Playing Hookey Charters” through this website and it was the perfect fit for what we wanted. I had a fun time fishing with Capt. Peter. I wanted to target Barracuda and he guided me do just that. We caught a variety of fish while jigging for blue runners to use as bait including a small shark and a LookDown fish which I had never seen before. Then we trolled for cudas and had 7 hits. What a rush when they hit your bait! They definitley are a fighting fish which was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Capt Peter for a fun day and I look forward to more trips with you!

We took the morning trip from 8-12 and caught a ton of fish which was filleted and cleaned by Captain Peter. He was extremely nice and explained everything clearly. He also is very careful and sets all the hooks as well as gets all the fish off. Overall 10/10 and would love to do another fishing trip next time!

Thanks to our captain Peter who was very professional, took us to different spots and taught us how to fish with the greatest kindness. We had a great day with him and caught an incredible amount of fish (king mackerel, snapper, grant, barracuda, grouper…). Peter even took the time to clean and prepare the fish when we returned. It was a real pleasure! We recommend him without a shadow of a doubt.
