Cape Verde Fishing Charters runs angling trips out of Sal Rei and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.
Capt. Luca & Andrea are here to get you on some fish, and to make sure you have fun doing it. You’ll be using techniques like trolling, jigging, popping, spearfishing, and spinning, depending on what you’re going after. As part of their 6 to 9-hour trips, you can target species like Sailfish, Dolphin, Amberjack, Marlin, Wahoo, and Snapper, depending on the current season and weather conditions.
Your boat for the day will be a 40’ Luhrs that fits up to 8 anglers at any one time. The boat comes with a toilet, an AC, an ice box, and a fighting chair.
When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day.
You will share the catch with the crew, contact the captain before the trip if you have any questions about keeping the catch.
There will be a first mate on board to help you with anything you need. Tips for good service are always appreciated.
The price of your trip also includes complimentary drinks. As for lunch you’re welcome to bring your own. Please let the captain know if you have any questions or special requests.
This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.
