Ana Banana Fishing runs angling trips out of Marathon and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.
Come on aboard with Capt. Joel, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing, fly fishing, drift fishing, handline, jigging, popping, and spinning, based on the species you're targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 10-hour trips, where you'll be fishing for the likes of Snapper, Tarpon, Barracuda, Permit, Grouper, and Shark, depending on the specific season and the day's weather.
Your boat for the day will be a 17' Mako that fits up to 3 anglers at any one time.
All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that's up to you is to use it as best you can. No need to worry about fishing licenses, as they will be provided and handled by the charter.
You'll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip.

We just enjoyed our second trip with Captain Brian Estes and will never be able to say enough good things about thia very enthusiastic guy. The conditions were rough but he was determined. He really wanted to get us on a tarpon and it was a success! had lots of fun out there with him. great guy!!
Captain Brian was super attentive and a patient teacher who put us on fish 🐟 right away. We would definitely book Ana Banana again and request Captain Brian. Great afternoon of fishing 🎣
