Hello, thank you for looking into Fin Addicts Guide Service! I am Capt. Colin O'Brien. Fishing is my calling in life! Getting people out to enjoy the water and experience the animals that call the coast of Pensacola home is one of my favorite things to do.
I have over 13 years of experience fishing the bays of Pensacola. Over the years, I have developed the knowledge and techniques to give you the best chance of a successful day on the water. I specialize in targeting Redfish and Trout on the flats and in the marsh. Even large Bull Reds!
Whether you like watching a cork with live shrimp under it or working a lure to catch fish, I've got you covered. Fishing with artificial lures is my preferred method, so if that's how you like to fish or something you want to learn how to do, I'm your guide.
I welcome all levels of fishing experience on my boat. First time fishing? No problem! I'm happy to show you the ropes. If you've been fishing all your life and want to fish Pensacola like the pros, no problem! If you just want to relax on the boat and catch a few fish, no problem. Children are also welcome! Nothing makes me happier than seeing a kid bring in a big fish.
I will also note that I believe in the conservation of our marine life. So limits on my boat will be more restrictive than state regulations. I believe in only taking what you need and protecting the breeding stock. I will teach proper handling of fish that will be released so the fish survives and thrives after capture.
I provide a full guide service. Everything you'll need to go fishing is included. Including gear, tackle, bait, plenty of cold water, and safety equipment. All you will need to bring is snacks, and anything you would like to drink other than water.
I also offer a wade fishing option for shallow flats. We will need the boat to get there, but when it's hot, or if you like wade fishing, I recommend it. If that sounds good, I would love to have you out with me!

My wife didn’t want to go out to deep sea for half a day so we booked the 2 hour trip with captain Colin. He is one cool dude! He was very friendly, took us around Escambia Bay to some great spots, and we caught about 20 fish. We caught red fish, bass, some breed of tarpon, and even a croaker (which I had never heard of so Colin taught us about it). We even caught two 20in redfish which Colin cleaned and bagged for us which tasted amazing. I would highly recommend booking with Colin and having a great time catching fish!
All together, I think we caught about 30 fish. Got a couple of keepers, not all were the biggest, but it was very fun. My daughter had never caught a fish. And she definitely had a blast. And caught many, so I'm happy with that. Great experience.. Well, definitely check it out again.If we are in the area
This was the first time our little girl got to fish in the ocean in a boat and she caught multiple fish, One pretty big one! We were very pleased with the experience! Captain Colin was awesome!
capt collin put us on some fish right away. but a big storm blew in so we sat for what seemed like an eternity under a big bridge. Fishing was slow after that and a couple in my party got wet and cold and decided to go home. Capt stayed w me, added an extra hour to our trip and put me on a hot spot that really was so much fun!
we had a great trip caught alot of Reds would recommend this trip for anyone. My 9 year old caught over 20 fish and cant wait to come back and go again.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
