Short Skirts Sportfishing Charters is a father-son business that runs fishing trips out of Charleston SC and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.

Come on aboard with Capt. Hayden or Capt. Chris, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. very comfortable boat with private bathroom. We specialize in teaching families and love teaching kids about our fishery. Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, and big game fishing based on the species you're targeting.

Speaking of which, you have the option of 4, 6, 8 and 12-hour trips, where you'll be fishing for the likes of Bull Redfish, Sea Bass, Sharks, Trout, King Mackerel, Dolphin, Wahoo, Snapper, Sailfish, and Grouper, depending on the specific season, trip booked, and the day's weather.

Your boat for the day will be a 30' Salt Shaker with NEW twin Yamaha 300hp engines that fits up to 6 anglers. One of Charleston's most comfortable charter boats. Inshore trips 15-30 mins to fishing grounds or less than 2 hrs to Offshore fishing grounds versus most big Charter boats 3 hrs.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain, so you don't have to worry about it.

You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

Capt. Hayden runs most trips and there for whatever you may need. 20% gratuity of the price of the trip is customary.

My son and I were blown away by the outing - from the boat, to the fish we caught, to the conversation. Capt Hayden was took us to great spots, and more importantly took his time to teach my son how to saltwater fish, from aetting lines to pulling in a 50 lb Red. He was so personable and the conversation was as good as the fishing. The trip was the highlight of thr weel. I could not reccomend him more highly, and have alrady booked more time with him when we come back in July. Thanks again for everything Capt!

Amazing Captain, Great Boat

We had an amazing day fishing with Captain Hayden. The ocean was a bit tough on us because of recent storms and extreme high tides, but that didnt stop Captain Hayden from putting us on some fish anyways. He used multiple techniques until everone on our trip landed a fish. The best part of the entire trip was how great the captain was with the kids we brought with us. All we've heard from the boys has been, "Captain Hayden was awesome," "When are we going fishing with Captain Hayden again?" So much gratitude for making this so special for them. Thanks for the memories!

booked a last minute trip because when we got to town my son really wanted to go so i booked the trip and the morning of hayden called and said it would be raining but he would do whatever we wanted to we decided to go and the fishing was hard but captain Hayden worked tirelessly to get us on fish and by the end of the trip he had my son smiling so big i dont know if its ever going to go away. would highly recommend anyone to book with him you wont regret it even if the weather dosnt cooperate. i cant thank him enough

Great trip out to the reef

One of the boys caught a massive sheepshead, bite on with lots of black sea bass. Captain Brad threw the net for shrimp, got on the fish, and was full of insights. pefect for families with teenage kids.

An Unforgettable Family Fishing Adventure with Captain Hayden!

Had an incredible 4-hour trip with Short Skirts Sportfishing and Captain Hayden! Our group of 3 adults and 3 teens caught many Redfish, a flounder, and even a shark! We also saw a dolphin. Captain Hayden was fantastic—super patient, fun, and great with the kids. His passion for fishing and deep knowledge of the Charleston area really came through.
