Kind of a slow day fishing, but Luis worked his but off switching up gear, trying different spots, breaking it up by playing around catching some bait fish, chasing down leads for hotspots from other captains, going after any and everything biting. We caught a small shark early in the day, had a long drought, and finished the day hooking my daughter up on a barracuda. Easy going, laid back attitude, very knowledgeable, and personable. My wife’s not big on fishing and she said she could’ve stayed out longer. Most important, we all got off his boat with a smile on our faces. Would definitely use again if we’re fishing this area.

He filleted the fish when we got back to the dock and let us know how to get it home as well as giving us recommendations on where we could have it prepared fresh if we wanted! Booked a two hour fish trip with my husband and two young kids , we had a blast !!! Luis is awesome , and passionate ! We catched a tuna for bait , a king fish + a sailfish !!! It was awesome , the whole family had so much fun ! It was our first experience and Luis made sure we had a great experience ! A super fun 2 hours with Luis and Wicked Cuda. Family of four with 9 and 11 year old boys who love to fish (but their parents don't) had such a fun time and caught a number of barracuda and they were so excited. We will definitely do this again when back in Ft. Lauderdale in a few years!

My kids and I booked this trip for my son's 11th birthday. Captain Luis was great. He gave us a call the morning of and told us how to get to his slip on the dock and where to park. He asked what kind of fish we were looking to catch. My daughter want to catch a ahark and my sun a mahi. We loaded up and set out and were fishing in no time. No long boat ride like some other charters I have been on. As soon as we were on the spot, Captain Luis got us setup and we were catching fish immediately! We had tons of live bait and fesh cut bait. Productive day on the water, we ended the day with 3 black fin tuna, 2 bonita, 2 king fish, 2 Vermillion snapper, 2 trigger, 1 Mahi, 2 sand sharks, and 1 strawberry grouper. We also had a hammerhead swimming around the boat it was amazing! My kids absolutely love it. This will be a new tradition for me and my kids and I know exactly where to come back to Wicked Cuda with Captain Luis!!!
