Ft. Lauderdale has a fish with your name on it, so let Capt. Matt Fann and the Fish Advisor help you catch it! With Captain Matt at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands. Captain Matt Fann has 25 years of local experience fishing in ft Lauderdale,fla and is a Florida native!
These waters are home to Sailfish, Barracuda, Wahoo, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, sharks and more if conditions are right. These species are all dependent on the trip that you choose. You’ll target your catch by spinning, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Your day begins aboard a 34’ Avanti center console with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There is full sized restroom onboard for your convenience. As well as a full stereo system complete with Bluetooth 🎶.
Capt. Matt has rods and reels for you.
Live bait is optional and subject to availability. Speak with Captain Matt when reserving your trip to see if live bait will be necessary.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and whatever you would like to eat or drink. Beer is allowed but in cans only and no hard liquor!

I’ve been told that you may not catch Fish on any given day, but Matt put us over Fish expertly. We caught tons of mahi and two tuna enough that I just bought a cooler and shipping them to North Carolina. Matt is upfront and full of facts but I cannot say enough about the fact that he knows exactly what he’s doing. Stay with him and you will have the best you can possibly have.

Capt Matt was great! He stayed in touch up till the day we went out. Was upfront about what to expect and had a lot of great knowledge. Capt kept the mood light with some good tunes and great conversation. Best of all we caught fish all morning keeping 8! I would definitely recommend this charter, Capt Matt obviously knew his stuff and was great to hang out with for the trip.
