Fish Tracker runs angling trips out of Malé and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.
Come on aboard with Capt. Akko, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, handline, jigging, popping, spearfishing, and spinning, based on the species you're targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 8-hour trips, where you'll be fishing for the likes of Trevally, Barracuda, Sailfish, Bohar Snapper, Tuna, and Coral Trout, depending on the specific season and the day's weather.
You'll be fishing from a 27' Fountain boat with enough room for up to 5 anglers at any single time. It also includes an ice box.
The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need for a productive day on the water. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time.
You'll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip.
There will be complimentary snacks, and drinks aboard for your convenience during the trip, but feel free to bring your own drinks or snacks if you prefer.
This is a children-friendly charter, so you're welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

Had a great experience and managed to spear my first dog tooth tuna! Was plenty of Grouper, snapper and trevally around also! Akko was a great dive buddy which made my experience better, as I was able to relax more - and as a result, do longer and deeper dives than I usually would. Would definitely recommend to any spearos!
