Based out of Buffalo, Buffalo Bassman Charters is your ticket to a memorable time on the water.
Capt. Greg will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in bottom fishing, trolling, fly fishing, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning, all to get you on that bite. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Bass, Walleye, Perch, or for whatever happens to be biting depending on the season and conditions on the day.
You'll be fishing from an 18' Ranger boat with enough room for up to 3 anglers at any single time.
All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that's up to you is to use it as best you can. Don't forget to buy a fishing license before the trip!
You can keep anything you catch, as long as it's legal to do so.
The boat will be supplied with snacks, and drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

May fishing trip

Captain Greg gave us such an amazing experience! He was very good at teaching us fishing skills on Lake Erie. He told the best stories and made it so there was always conversation. This trip is great for anyone that is up for a good time fishing or looking to learn how to fish. We will be booking with him again in the future and will be taking other people as well!!

Such a great experience

We caught so many small mouth on Lake Erie, captain Greg knew exactly where to go and what to use to catch the big one. Captain Greg was very knowledgeable and friendly and even shared a lot about the history of Buffalo and Lake Erie along the way, we highly recommend him and plan to use him again in the future.

I booked a trip with Captain Greg for my son’s 10th birthday. When Greg found out it was for his birthday, he offered to send me a gift certificate so that I had some physical to give him for a present. I thought that was very thoughtful. My husband and two boys spent the day on the lake catching fish after fish! Captain was on time, he was friendly and knew the good spots. He even took a ton of pictures that he sent me after the trip concluded. We will definitely not only be recommending him to others but we’ll be booking with him again! Thank you, Greg for helping my boys make some wonderful memories today!!

Captain Greg is a Gem!

Our day started out chilly, windy and overcast. I went into this fearing we wouldn’t catch anything and my son and boyfriend would end up not having a good time. I was completely wrong. Greg is knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining and accommodating. The fish weren’t biting much at first, but he still managed to keep our spirits and hopes up! He assured us we would catch fish and we did. By the end of our trip we had caught over 30 fish and had a blast. As soon as we got back in our truck my 17 year old son said how much he liked Greg and what a good time we had. I would recommend Captain Greg to anyone!
