Based out of Alder, Fishtales Outfitting is your ticket to a memorable time on the Ruby River.

Capt. Michael aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you’re after! Depending on the trip and species, you’ll be using techniques like fly fishing, and drift fishing. You’re looking at 8-hour trips, where you’ll usually go after the likes of Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, and Cutthroat Trout, depending on the weather and time of year.

All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that’s up to you is to use it as best you can. Fishing licenses aren’t included, so make sure to get them prior to the trip.

These trips are strictly catch-and-release, so expect to return anything you catch back to the water.

There will be complimentary snacks, drinks, and lunch on your adventure for your convenience during the trip, but feel free to bring your own drinks or snacks if you prefer.

This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.
