Fishtales Outfitting is your ticket to a full-day fishing adventure on Montana's Beaverhead River!

Capt. Mike and his team of expert guides are here to get you on some Trout and to help you submerse in nature and enjoy the day in every way. He aim to make your trip more personable and customized to suit your needs and preferences. As part of the 8-hour trips, you can target species like Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, and Cutthroat Trout, depending on the current season and weather conditions.

The Captain likes to drift fish but also enjoys walk/wade trips and loves to take the time to ensure you make the most out of your excursion. Your fishing adventure will be on foot and on a 14' Clackacraft boat that can safely take up to 2 anglers. Under no circumstances will we out more than 2 people in a boat. This boat features an ice box. All rods, reels, flies and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on fly fishing.

Please make sure to buy a MT fishing fishing license ahead of time. These trips are fly fishing and catch-and-release, so any fish you catch will be returned to the water.

The price of your trip also includes complimentary snacks, drinks, and lunch, but you're welcome to bring your own. Please let the captain know if you have any questions or special requests. Kids are welcome to join. The captain will agree with you on the departure point before the trip.

Although gratuities aren’t mandatory, they are customary. Please tip your guide directly. A 20% gratuity is a considerate way to show your guide his efforts are appreciated.
