Running angling trips out of Yorktown, Litigator SportFishing will do all it takes to put you on the fish!
The professional captain and crew know all the best fishing spots on the Chesapeake Bay to ensure you have a productive day. Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, and spinning based on the species you’re targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 8-hour trips, where you’ll be fishing for the likes of Black Drum, Spadefish, Flounder, Redfish, Cobia, and Bass, depending on the specific season and the day’s weather.
Your boat for the day will be a 26’ Intrepid that fits up to 6 anglers at any one time. This sporty vessel was restored in 2022 and comes with an ice box. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that’s up to you is to use it as best you can. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day.
You can keep anything you catch as long as it’s legal to do so. There will be a first mate on board to help you with anything you need. Tips for good service are always appreciated. This is a children-friendly business, so bring your loved ones to share these memories with.

3/4 Day Trip – Bay on August 14, 2023 • 4 adults
Man what a great trip! The equipment was all top notch. Capt Colt was right on time and we were on fish 30 minutes later. Capt Colt was raised in this area and knows the water and fish like the back of his hand. We were continually on fish the entire trip and filled quota of Cobia and Spanish Mackerel. A few of these were monsters. The enthusiasm and fun loving nature of Capt Colt was infectious so we all had fun. No doubt I will fish this charter again!

I’m sorry that you didn’t have a good experience. I made the most of the conditions I had to work with trying to sightfish and bottom fish in a little bit windy and very cloudy circumstances. I also gave you a discount at the end of the trip because the fishing was poor and I felt bad. I regret not having rescheduled our trip to better weather and I apologize for the conditions and fishing. I wish there was more I could have done!
