Running fishing trips out of Melbourne,
Capt. Dale is here to get you on some fish, and to make sure you have fun doing it. You'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, and spinning, depending on what you're going after. As part of their 5-hour trips, you can target species like Snapper, Shark, King George Whiting, Salmon, and flathead, squid, pinkies, depending on the current season and weather conditions.
Your adventure begins on board a 22' Hydrofield boat that can fit a maximum of 4 anglers.
Whether you book for 2 or 4 people, there will be no other customers on the boat, will be just who you bring.
The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need for a productive day on the water. Please keep in mind you'll need to get a fishing licence before the start of the trip
You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.
There will be complimentary snacks and drinks aboard for your convenience during the trip, but feel free to bring your own drinks or snacks if you prefer.
This is a children-friendly charter, so you're welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

Birthday present for the lady and what an experience. Dale is a superstar his dedication to making sure you catch something is by far his number one goal. He knows where the fish are and he knows how to fish. His knowledge is on point.
We bagged up. From the moment the first rod went in to the moment our last fish was caught it was pure excitement, hectic, fast but words cannot describe it. The birthday girl puts this whole experience at number 1 and it couldn't have happened without a dedicated skipper. Dale you by far exceeded all our expectations .We are super glad we got the experience of 'best night of the season' with you. Our biggest snapper 83cm long & 5kg who can complain.... Cheers mate look forward to our next adventure with you.

captain Dale went over and above to find us more fish. we had a fun morning all catching lil snappers but then the wind came. the wind slowed the fish catching down but despite this we had a great time. we did manage to supply father inlaw with a tasty meal and entree (the man loves eating fish but yer. . . try getting him in a boat lol) highly recommend this trip I was able to spend some quality time with two of the most important men in my life, no crowd, ni fighting over the best spots/equipment we felt like we were given the best opportunity to just fish freely and enjoy!

Had a good trip with Captain Dale. He is very knowledgeable about the locations in the Melbourne Bay and the type of species to fish for. We caught a couple of the King George Whiting but it still was a tough day with the conditions.
Myself [62], father-in-law [93], neighbor [92], and my daughter [25] on the trip and all would recommend Captain Dale if you are looking for a fishing experience in Melbourne.

Fabulous skipper and lovely afternoon

Dale made this trip super lovely, doing everything to make sure we had some good catches (squid and pinkies on a very quiet winter's day. He was friendly and great with me and my teenagers. Happy to explain things and answer all kinds of curious questions. Having good weather was a bonus, but have nothing but praise for Dale and his operation. End to end experience 5 star! Not posting fish photos because they all include minors!

Captain Dale was absolutely incredible!!! Although fishing is a hit or miss, captain Dale made sure we caught a bunch! We caught aroud 15 fish & 1 squid! To add onto that, he brought us UP CLOSE to a pod of dolphins & some seals!! They swam right next to our boat and it's something we'll never forget. If you're someone who doesn't like to touch bait, or doesn't know how to fish, Captain Dale will happily bait our hook, take the fish off the hook for you, cast out your pole if needed, and also teach you how to do it step by step if you want to learn. I also recommend if you don't want to be crowded with 10+ people on a small boat! He offers private charters, so it's just you and whoever you bring along! That was huge for us! Will definitely be booking again if we come back to Australia!
