Running fishing trips out of Melbourne,
Capt. Dale is here to get you on some fish, and to make sure you have fun doing it. You'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, and spinning, depending on what you're going after. As part of their 5-hour trips, you can target species like Snapper, Shark, King George Whiting, Salmon, and flathead, squid, pinkies, depending on the current season and weather conditions.
Your adventure begins on board a 22' Hydrofield boat that can fit a maximum of 4 anglers.
Whether you book for 2 or 4 people, there will be no other customers on the boat, will be just who you bring.
The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need for a productive day on the water. Please keep in mind you'll need to get a fishing licence before the start of the trip
You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.
There will be complimentary snacks and drinks aboard for your convenience during the trip, but feel free to bring your own drinks or snacks if you prefer.
This is a children-friendly charter, so you're welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

Our 2nd charter in 4 months with Skipper Daleβ¦ and once again, he absolutely delivered (starting to think heβs got fish on speed dial). His knowledge of where to fish, how to fish, and what to use was spot on β we barely had time to finish a sentence before someoneβs rod was bending. What really sets Dale apart is how he caters to everyone. Our crew ranged from 18 to 70, and he made sure everyone was involved, laughing, and actually catching fish β not just holding the rods for photos. For those of us who werenβt exactly βexperts,β he was more than happy to share a few tricksβ¦ and letβs just say, we left looking a lot more experienced than we arrived. If youβre after an easy-going, down-to-earth skipper who genuinely loves what he does (and makes sure you do too), we couldnβt recommend Skipper Dale highly enough.

Birthday present for the lady and what an experience. Dale is a superstar his dedication to making sure you catch something is by far his number one goal. He knows where the fish are and he knows how to fish. His knowledge is on point. We bagged up. From the moment the first rod went in to the moment our last fish was caught it was pure excitement, hectic, fast but words cannot describe it. The birthday girl puts this whole experience at number 1 and it couldn't have happened without a dedicated skipper. Dale you by far exceeded all our expectations .We are super glad we got the experience of 'best night of the season' with you. Our biggest snapper 83cm long & 5kg who can complain.... Cheers mate look forward to our next adventure with you.

Captain Dale was absolutely incredible!!! Although fishing is a hit or miss, captain Dale made sure we caught a bunch! We caught aroud 15 fish & 1 squid! To add onto that, he brought us UP CLOSE to a pod of dolphins & some seals!! They swam right next to our boat and it's something we'll never forget. If you're someone who doesn't like to touch bait, or doesn't know how to fish, Captain Dale will happily bait our hook, take the fish off the hook for you, cast out your pole if needed, and also teach you how to do it step by step if you want to learn. I also recommend if you don't want to be crowded with 10+ people on a small boat! He offers private charters, so it's just you and whoever you bring along! That was huge for us! Will definitely be booking again if we come back to Australia!

Capt. Dale was fast to provide information and guided us on the fishing license requirement, after which we are all taken care of, he is on schedule for the trip, and we caught Pinkies, Australian Salmons and Calamari too! We will be back again. Thank you so much.

My boys and I went on this fishing trip with Dale and he knew what heβs doing. He knew the spots and was great with the boys. We caught plenty of Calamari and Snappers. Highly recommended
