Looking to catch some fish in Perry, FL? Reel Hard Charters is your ticket! With Captain David at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
These waters are known for Flounder, Spotted Seatrout, Black Drum, Cobia, Redfish, Scallop, Black Seabass, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before 'Fish on!' You can expect to do light tackle fishing, popping, drifting, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. David welcomes children aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And be sure to bring a cooler with drinks and snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Capt. David runs a 22' Skiff with space for 4 passengers. Scalloping trips can accommodate up to 6 guests. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Ask, and your captain can tell you more.
Some essentials to bring are a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). The captain will provide bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Just be sure to avoid glass bottles. Live bait is available for an extra $10. For lodging information, be sure to message Captain David.

we had a great day on the water. Captain David was exceptional in making sure I caught my limit on fish. I was very pleased how the day went and the amount of time we had on the water. I would recommend this trip to all anglers.

Let me start by saying that it takes a lot to please me as I own my own guide service on the east coast of Florida. His gear is top notch and customer service is excellent! From the moment I stepped on the boat, I felt like I was family! He put us on the perfect location where everyone was grabbing 5-6 scallops each dive down. We limited the boat with 10 gallons of scallops within 1.5 hours! I highly recommend using david as a guide!!!

Spent the beginning of the day catching a wide variety of fish. Then limited out on scallops. Scalloping was so a blast with the bonus of as spending time enjoying the underwater beauty and wildlife, while retrieving scallops! Lots of fun. Loved it when the suckers spit water at me!!! Highly recommend this charter!
Glad you all had a good time. Y’all were a blast to spend the day with. Y’all did great for your first time scalloping. Hope to see y’all again soon.
