On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll using heavy tackle. Feel free to keep any fish you catch, so long as it’s legal. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, you may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

Don’t leave home without sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask.
