Gulf Water Charters has a trip with your name on it along the stunning waters of Naples. Captain RJ will be your guide, allowing you to benefit from years of local experience. Sunset, dolphin watching, and beach/shelling are available also.
These waters hold species like Lane and Mangrove Snapper, Cobia, Great Barracuda, Shark, Pompano, Spanish Mackerel, Ladyfish, Jack Crevalle, and more, depending on conditions. You’ll likely troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle to go after the fish. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to take. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!
Come aboard the 25’ Parker boat that can fit up to 4 guests fishing and 8 guests for non fishing. it’s equipped with a wireless trolling motor. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, which means all you
have to do is show up ready for a good time!
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. Otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks and drinks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach! 😃

Excellent trip

We scheduled with Captian R.J. the accommodation was above and beyond especially with me bookomg last min. As luck would have it there was a cold front that pushed through and from my experiences fishing up North it's a shut down as far as the bite. However Capt. R.J. put us on fish including a bonnet shark, red fish and everything in-between. We had dolphins literally come rite up to the boat and even hit our anchor line wanting capt to pull up and leave so they could play I'm our wake. The whole experience was well worth it time, money. He did everything he could to put my boys on fish and delivered. Definitely a great captain with tons of experience and knowledge of FL waters. Down to earth guy who treated us like family as opposed just customers. If we are in the area again I'll Definitely book again with captian R.J. 5 🌟 all day!!!

Fantastic Experience!

Captain RJ was outstanding! He was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable, and had great communication with us before the fishing trip began. During our trip, he visited many different fishing spots to make sure that we were not only catching fish but a variety of fish. We caught a lot of fish, even a small shark called a Bonnethead (that resembles a Hammerhead)! Captain RJ taught us novice fishermen (my husband and three teenagers) proper fishing technique, and worked hard to bait everyone's hooks and aid in releasing the fish. He even kept an eye out for dolphins and got us up close for photos when we spotted them. The fishing trip with Captain RJ was the highlight of our Naples visit; don't hesitate to book!

Captain RJ was great! He did a fantastic job moving around to where the fish were biting. He did a great job coaching my son and daughter as well. I asked if we could try to catch a shark while we fished for dinner and my son got to fight with a huge shark for awhile before he spit out the hook. We all caught a bunch of fish but RJ kept trying for another shark and we stayed fishing past our scheduled time and sure enough my daughter ended up feeling in a nice 5’ hammerhead!!! RJ never stopped working for fish and kept the live bait on our hooks. Plus he was a pleasure to talk with and fish with. Will definitely give him a call next year when we are back in town!

Great trip with Captain Rick

We had an awesome day with Captain Rick. My 3 boys, age 10,11, and 13, and I spent 1/2 day fishing in the Gulf over Spring Break 2023. We have not fished in a a while and captain Rick provided a great experience. He is a life long Naples fisherman, having worked on commercial fishing boats, with his father as a stone crabber and as a guide in the Everglades. He has encyclopedic knowledge of the gulf and how to fish it. We caught 30 plus fish with ease and a large shark. His new 25 foot Parker is quick and comfortable. Would enthusiastically recommend spending a day with captain Rick.

Fun day on the water!

We love boating, and my boyfriend loves fishing, so a day on the water with Captain RJ was the perfect combo. We had high winds so had to stay in coves, but Captain RJ made sure we found fish, he went above and beyond to make sure. We wrapped up our day with having our fresh catch cooked three ways at Kelly’s and it was delicious, on the recommendation of the Captain. Thanks again for a memorable experience!
