These waters are known for Striped Bass, Bluefish, Haddock, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Black Seabass, Bonito, Tautog, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few!
On the day of your trip, you're likely to drift and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Georgi also offers fly fishing, which is one of his specialties.
You're welcome to take home some of the fish you catch, provided they're within size and bag limits.
You'll be dropping lines from a 23' SeaCraft center console with space for 3 passengers. It comes with outriggers and all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!

Already when we talked at the phone before the trip, I had a feeling that this is going to be nice. Georgi was so friendly and uncomplicated. It even got better when we got on the boat. Georgi gave all his instructions in a calm and simple way. Our 9 year old son Maxi doesn’t speak English, but that wasn’t a problem at all. When it came to fishing, you could see how much Georgi loves what he is doing. Maxi caught 2 tunas and had the best day of his life (his own words)!! We couldn’t really tell who was more excited, Maxi or Georgi. If you want to have a really good time and catch some serious fish, go with Georgi! Thank you for the great trip Georgi!

What a trip!!! Capt. George absolutely made the day for us. He is extremely knowledgeable about the Plymouth Bay fisheries and beyond and he put us on the fish all am! He made sure we had lines in the water at all times and we were running and gunning to chase the action - George did not disappoint! Hands down best captain to date after having been on multiple trips all over!

What a day, Captain Georgi was amazing, a great teacher talker and listener. I’m convinced that he was more determined than me to ensure we caught fish. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. If you only go on one charter this year, make Captain Georgi the one!

My name is Capt. Georgi Vasilev. I have been fishing since the young age of 10 in Bulgaria, where I was born. My fishing resume is not the most impressive but I think, it is pretty interesting considering all the places, countries, and species I fished for. From the freestone rivers in Bulgaria, Ireland, and the US to the Gulf of Almeria in Spain. My passion for chasing fish in moving water with a fly rod developed strongly in the past 12 years. Once I came to the USA back in 2016, my passion and curiosity grew even stronger. In time I have come to consider the beautiful coast of Plymouth, Massachusetts my home waters. From the very beginning I knew I would make a living on the water, just wasn't there yet. Hard work, curiosity, and observation in the past 7 years gave me the confidence to become a certified USCG fishing charter captain.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
