Early Morning half day beauty.
HalfDay– Striped Bass (AM) Mon-Th on July 27, 2022

We booked a trip with Captain Brian on our vacation to Boston. And was the highlight of the trip. Plymouth sunrise was amazing to be followed up by a great time catching 15-20 Stripped bass. Captain Brian was very knowledgeable of not just of where the fish were but history of the Plymouth area. We were lucky enough to catch a fish on the second cast and then no less then a few moments later having all three of us with Fish on the line at the same time. Such a great time. Thank you Captain Brian for a memory my family will never forget!

Good Experience
Half Day Trip – Striped Bass on August 16, 2022

We had a good time with Brian. He was very familiar with the area and was able to show us around and move to different spots if the fish weren't biting. He was also able to show us some history spots and share a lot of information about the area. He made sure we caught fish and was very easy to interact with. My wife is very inexperienced at fishing and he was such a great teacher she ended up catching more fish than I did...plus the biggest! LOL We had good time with that. It was a good trip.

Capt Brian put us on fish and showed us around Duxbury Bay. This is a great trip for beginners and experienced anglers (we had both on our trip).

Evening trip with Captain Brian Kelly
Half Day Trip – Striped Bass (PM) on August 10, 20223 adults

We had a wonderful time with Captain Brian fishing the Plymouth bays with both light tackle and on the fly. The captain was able to find schools of feeding stripers under initially tough low tide conditions, and we caught so many stripers we not only lost count but also ended up with tired arms and wrists. The captain was very patient, informative, personable, and a pleasure to spend a beautiful evening with on the water. Top-notch!

Morning Schoolies
HalfDay– Striped Bass (AM) Mon-Th on July 17, 2022

Captain Brian had my dad and I on the fish bright and early after pushing off on Sunday morning. After the first hit it was nonstop topwater action until we motored back to the dock. Brian was approachable from the start and very knowledgeable of the area. He allowed us to tailor the experience to what we wanted to go after for the day and we had a great time pulling in upwards of 30 fish. I would go again in a heartbeat.

You never know what type of day you're going to have on the water but when everything lines up. Tides time of year and consistent efforts. Great mornings can be had like these. Thanks for being fantastic guests!

In the spring of 2018, Captain Brian was headed to Montana to attend a fly fishing guide school. He learned drift boat rowing on the Big Horn River and he had jet boat training. He learned about water safety, fly tying, casting sight fishing and knowledge from the senior instructors. He earned his guide certificate, first aid, and CPR training before returning home. All the while, Captain Brian had his eye on a Parker 1801 CC. Since 2018, each season he had well over a hundred trips with close friends and anglers on the 'Betty Anne'. He dialed in fly selections, line types, knot connections, lures, and equipment, while also taking friends and family on the water practicing his guiding skills and boat handling. Captain Brian could be seen at his internship with a local fly shop to stay immersed in the sport for the 2018 off-season. He continues his education for maintenance, equipment, clothing, fly selections, institutional knowledge, and fly tying. which helps him to further advance.
