These waters are home to Striped Bass, White Perch, Catfish, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, and more, depending on when you go. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. The fish caught are yours to take home, so long as they’re within the legal limit. Capt. Dj can even clean your catch for you. Talk about bang for your buck!

You’ll be casting lines from a 36’ Downeast that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials; plus, there’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it ahead of time, so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate, who’s there to help you fish and keep everyone safe on board. Mates often work for tips, and it’s customary to offer them a 20% gratuity. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, which means all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons.
