JW’s Guide Service 

Make the most of your time in Corpus Christi and go fishing with JW’s Guide Service. Having logged many hours on these waters, Captain Joshua is prepared to put you on fish in the Laguna Madre or Nueces Bay.

Depending on the season, you might hook into Speckled Trout, Redfish, Black Drum, Flounder, Sheepshead, and anything else that bites. You’ll target your catch by wading with lures, or if you’re more comfortable in the boat, you can fish with live shrimp or live croaker.

You’ll be fishing from a 22’ Majek bay boat that can carry up to 4 passengers. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures. Live bait is available if that is your preference.

Capt. Joshua welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids. Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Fish cleaning is available at extra cost, for .50 cents per pound.

You can’t go wrong when you bring snacks, sunglasses, and sunscreen. The captain will provide water, and feel free to bring your favorite beverages including alcohol.
