Make an adventure out of your next trip to Nashville and go fishing with Big Cat Safaris. Your guide for the day is Captain Eddie, so you’ll benefit from years of sportfishing experience.
These waters hold game fish like Catfish, which will be your focus on these trips, and on them, it’s common to drift and bottom fish using heavy tackle. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home and throw it right into the pan.
Your fishing machine for the day is a 24’ Bayliner bay boat with a capacity for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it ahead of time so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to assist you and make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10%–20% gratuity is customary and much appreciated.
Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
Big Cat Safaris is a kid-friendly charter service, so bring ‘em aboard and get the kids hooked while they’re young! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
You’ll want to bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Your trip includes a few drinks on board.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Big Cat Safaris!
