Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Speckled Trout, Flounder, Redfish, and anything else that bites.
On the day of your trip, you're likely to use light tackle. Capt. Zane also offers fly fishing. Any fish you catch are yours to keep, provided they're legal to keep.
Your fishing machine for the day is a 21 goot sea born bay boat holds up to 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water.
Capt. Zane will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Trips with Falling Tide Fishing Adventures are open to the whole family, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

No exaggeration, we caught over 50 fish!!!! He was very professional, especially when we got hung up on rocks and lost lures to the HUGE fish we were catching. There are other Cpts out there, but only one CPT ZANE!!! You are doing yourself a disservice if you go with anyone else!!!!!

We went out with Captain Zane and probably caught a dozen fish of a few kinds! The Captain was very knowledgeable and patient, teaching us and giving us a great day out on the water. He even filleted a fish for us when we got back so I could cook it. Highly recommend. We hope to come again!

Zane and he had us in a school of Spanish mackerel within minutes of departure and we all caught several fish. Then we headed to calmer water and caught Red Drum left and right. We had a great time. Zane is amazing and all around good guy. Very knowledgeable of the area. Took us to several spots to fish. If you want a reliable fishing charter with great communication prior , dont hesitate to book with Falling Tide Fishing Adventures. It was the best fathers day with even better company.
Captain Zane was great both days we went out with him this week. He put us on fish both trips and was great with my two nephews and daughter. He was both fun and easy to be around. Looking forward to our next time out with him.
Good 4 hours even if we did not catch as many fish as we wanted. Captain Zane was pleasant and did all of the work. Nice boat and the Captain was very informative.
Capt Zane was incredible. He picked us up on time in BHI at the fuel dock. He had plently of rode and fresh bait. We fished back in the creeks of Southport and Oak Island. We hooked plenty of Redfish, sheapshead, and muller. Great late afternoon trip. Would highly recommend!
My 10 year old son and I had another great trip with Captain Zane. Will 100% do it again next year.
