Planning your fishing trip in Sheridan just got easier, thanks to Fishtales Outfitting. These packages are available for Beaverhead, Big Hole, Jefferson, and Ruby Rivers.

You won't have to travel far to fish these remote lake waters, including some spots that only the locals know about.

The name of the game around here is fly fishing, which is what you'll be doing on the day of your trip. Rods and reels will be provided.

Brown Trout, Steelhead, Brook Trout, and more could be biting if conditions are right.

Fishing on these trips is limited to catch and release. Trips take place aboard a 14' Drift boat that holds up to 2 passengers.

Everyone in your group should buy a local fishing license ahead of time. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Layered clothing and appropriate footwear are always encouraged (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen, no matter the weather.

We will have drinks prepared for you, and if you wish to bring your own, simply ask. Anglers of all ages are welcome on these trips, including kids. They should always wear life vests, so find out if we have the right size available, or bring your own.

Under no circumstances will we put more than 2 people in a boat.
