Good Times Fishing Adventures with Capt Wayne
If you are looking to have "Good Times" on the water catching fish, enjoying the outdoors on our beautiful area of the Tampa Bay. I am your Captain. Low Stress, have fun and catch fish. Capt. Wayne is a local native fishing and boating on the Tampa Bay and surrounding waters for the past 40 years.
Capt. Waynes’s ride is a 21 Hewes Redfisher Flats Boat. Great ride, runs skinny, and catches fish. Captain Wayne will supply rods, reels, a fishing license, and bait.
Capt. Wayne likes to fish for what is given to him. On fair weather days, we may be potluck fishing in the bay. You will catch Trout, Mackerel, Sharks, Jacks, Snapper, Sheepshead and may even jump a Tarpon. Tampa Bay is very diverse; you never know what you may catch.
When we have schools of Snook or Redfish together we will shallow-water fish on the flats.
Tarpon trips are always fun weather permitting and seasonal.
You can keep some of the fish you catch, assuming regulations allow it. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home without any hassle. Talk about bang for your buck!
Again, there’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Child-sized life vests are available. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
A few items you’ll want to bring include sunglasses, bottled water, snacks, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask.

3/4 Day Trip – Inshore
3/4 day trip with Captain Wayne
I will start this by saying this was my first fishing charter experience outside of a group charter in Minnesota about 10 years ago… Captain Wayne was an exceptional Captain with special attention to safety and really knows the area, fish, his equipped and was able to get us on the fish pretty quickly considering the fish were not very active this week. He did such a great job keeping our lines baited and rod/reels ready, even taking our catch off. He was especially great with our twin 11yo boys who adored Captain Wayne and we felt like he was truly apart of our family by the end of our trip! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to fish this area, he really made our day! The boys also have a few things to say here: Isaiah: Captain Wayne was so nice to My dad, mom, brother and I. He would put bait on the hook when we needed bait. Even if a fish were to bite the line and take the hook (happened a lot!) he would stay calm and fix it for us! He tried his best to have us catch some fish and we caught so many fish! This experience is out of this world! I would definitely recommend Captain Wayne! He’s even got a great sense of humor so you’ll never get bored! Definitely the best fishing experience I’ve ever had! Would do again! Jacob: Captain Wayne is the funniest and nicest guy ever ( my dad is too ). When my bait got took by a fish, Wayne helped me put a new one on my hook even if he was in the middle of something. He took us to a lot of different spots to have the chance to catch a fish. I caught 25 fishes and Capt. Wayne told me that I was a machine because I was catching fish one after another. Next year if we come back to Florida, I want to fish with Capt. Wayne. He is the best fishing guide.
