ROGEZAC Sportfishing
If you're going to cast a line in Los Angeles, look no further than ROGEZAC Sportfishing.
Lobster, California Sheephead, Skipjack, Lingcod, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Rockfish, Yellowtail Amberjack, Calico Bass, Halibut, Yellowfin Tuna, Pacific Barracuda, and more are in the cards, depending on when you go.
You'll target your catch by light tackle fishing, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Roger also offers kite fishing.
Young ones are welcome, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Your boat for the day is a 25ft Steiger craft which is 28ft overall that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a porter potty toilet on board for your convenience.
Capt. Roger will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 18-25% tip.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We booked a local fishing trip with Roger on the Leah Klea and we’re not sure exactly what to expect. Captain Roger exceeded any expectations we had and put us on multiple spots where we caught all types of fish, including a huge halibut. Captain Roger and his beautiful boat were amazing, but his customer service is where he really shined. Captain Roger made sure our entire group had the best experience possible me and we will all be fishing with him in the future. For anyone considering taking a trip with Roger, stop thinking about it and just go!

Hey Derek thanks for coming out and enjoying your day with us. We really appreciate your feed back. see you next trip
Captain Roger and his deck hand were great. They made sure we had fresh bait at all times. When one spot wasn’t producing, we moved to one that was. They had there own fishing poles and rigged them up for us. At the end he made sure we took a great picture by the light house with all our fish. They also cleaned, fillet, and bagged our catch with ice. i would definitely recommend this charter to anyone interested, well worth the money!

Wilson, thank you for coming out. I’m glad you guys enjoyed your day. Also, thank you for the cool review. We will see you on the next trip
Had an amazing time with captain and crew. They we’re not lying when they said you would catch fish. As soon as the lines hit the water, everyone was on a fish. excellent service, very kind and full of knowledge. Captain didn’t need a fish finder to find fish. Would recommend again, and cannot wait for our next trip.

thank you for coming out with us and enjoying your day. im glad you guys had a great time. appreciate your feedback means alot to us. see you soon

Everything was great! My son and husband had the greatest time. My son is 8 and is a lake fisher so he wasn't prepared for the fight of the big fish, Captain Roger was so patient with him and helpful so my husband could also enjoy the fishing himself. Captain Roger was so friendly and explained everything clearly to us. The boat was great also! My husband definitely wants to come back and do it again. We highly recommend Rogezac Fishing Charters!

Thank you, Larisha for an awesome review. I’m glad you guys had a great time. see you on the next trip

Amazing trip! You can really tell the captain and deckhand (Zach) really love their job! Gave us great advice and helpful tips during the trip and we were able to catch over 30 fish within couple hours. You can really tell the father-son duo love what they do. Captain knew great fishing spots unlike other captains I’ve been with. Awesome experience and great customer service. Highly recommend-5 star

thank you for coming out and leaving a great review. see you soon

I grew up fishing in our local waters and around Catalina Island. I started working on fishing boats when I was 12 and did it 20 years. I've always owned a boat, so spent 36 years on the water. I love teaching everyone how to fish especially the kids. Come out and get the best experience I guarantee we are the best all around
