Snook, Redfish, Gag Grouper, Tarpon, Spotted Seatrout, Tripletail, Mangrove Snapper, Cobia, Bull Shark, Nurse Shark, Black drum, and more inhabit these waters if you cast your line at the right time of year.

Fish caught during the trip are yours to take home, so long as they’re within the legal limit. The captain will even clean your catch for you. Have a cooler ready in the car!

You’ll be fishing from a beautiful 23ft bay boat equipped with everything you will need to sneak up on the fish of a lifetime.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, your captain carries a license for up to 4 people, just show up ready for a fun day of fishing.

Don’t leave home without sunglasses and sunblock. There will be bottled water on the boat, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own drinks and snacks so he can leave some room in the cooler!

Great Morning Slaying Snook

Inshore Fishing – 4 Hour Trip on October 29, 2025 • 2 adults

Zach had the boat at the ramp loaded up and ready to go when we arrived. Short run and he had us on fish on the second cast. my wife was able to catch a snook of a lifetime for her and we boated plenty of fish throughout the morning. Beautiful weather made for a relaxing morning on the water. Zach was very knowledgeable, professional and fun to fish with. We had a great time.

Fun trip

Inshore Fishing – 3 Hour Trip - 1:00 PM on July 16, 2025 • 3 adults • 1 child

Had a great time with Captain Zach or “Captain Jack” as my son would call him. Zach was very attentive and understanding. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Helped keep our 5 year old entertained. Walle (5 year old) caught the biggest and most fish. Zach monitored the weather and changed spots accordingly. Zach baited the hook and took fish off and kept us fishing. Clean boat and nice ride :) PS Don’t slam the hatches and always look behind you before you cast. Great trip! Thank you :)

A phenomenal time with a highly skilled inshore angler!

Inshore Fishing – 3 Hour Trip on December 21, 2024 • 2 adults • 2 children

Capt Zach is an absolute professional who was a pleasure to be around. He was punctual, communicated great, has a stellar boat and rod/reel/tackle setup, charged an incredibly fair price, and we caught a ton of fish (4 diff species: redfish, sheephead, mangrove snapper, snook). Inshore fishing excels offshore because you arrive at your first fishing spot in < 30min and start catching fish immediately. I would do it again in a heartbeat, and recommend anyone to come out; experienced anglers and novices. Zach was patient and helpful with the kids (i brought my 10yr old son and his 2 best friends out for my son’s birthday), very knowledgeable of the Tampa Bay region, the environment, and the craft of inshore fishing. Zach was also very attuned to safety measures, while still being all about having fun & “tight lines.” Zach’s vessel - a 20+ ft Blazer Bay — was brand new and state of the art; very comfortable for a crew of 4 passengers. Go out with Zach, catch gobs of inshore fish of multiple species, have a great time, and tell your friends. You won’t regret it!

Inshore Fishing – 3 Hour Trip on August 23, 2025 • 4 adults

We had an enjoyable and very memorable trip with Zach. Good communication with him and flexibility to tweak our start time. The weather challenged our excursion but he adapted, as did our family (2 kids + 2 adults) and we ended up catching quite a few fish, one shark and one seagull (haha)! Zach filleted a few fish for us which we’ll be enjoying for dinner. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic guide! What a memorable day on the water; caught 4 species and almost 25 fish! Book the 6 hour trip; you won’t regret it. Also saw multiple dolphins and manatees.
