Amberjack, Flounder, Cobia, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Gag Grouper, Pompano, Redfish, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Wahoo, Vermilion Snapper, and more can be found in these waters if you come at the right time of year.
For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Brandon also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. The fish caught are yours to take home, provided they're within size and bag limits.

Capt. Brandon operates Mac Daddy, a 32' Contender performance fishing vessel with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Tipping the Mate 10%–20% at the end of the day is customary to show your appreciation.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Some essentials you'll want to bring are sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you.

4 Hour Trip – Inshore (AM) on April 2, 2023 • 4 adultsI have chartered many trips over the years and will book again with this one. I booked this trip from my family which includes 2 teenagers. The captain was super nice and easy going, the boat was well equipped and got us on fish quickly. My kids caught about 30 fish on a 4 hour trip! The captain and deck had was very patient with the boys and made sure they had a great time. The boat (31’ contender) had a head which came in handy. Don’t waste your time on a huge boat that idles out to the fishing spots (unless you are very sensitive to getting sea sick).

Brandon did a great job working with us to find a break in the weather so we could go out and get in some fishing. Brandon also worked hard to keep us on the fish and was very knowledgeable about what setup and bait worked in different spots.
