505 Glen Cheek Dr
Port Canaveral, FL, United States

Welcome aboard the fishing vessel "Catch Dog!" The crew specializes in having fun and catching fish!

There are many species to catch in the waters off Port Canaveral! When deep-sea fishing, you’ll target King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, and more. If fishing nearshore, expect to hook Shark, Red Drum, Sting Ray, Snook, and many more. Whether you’re an avid angler and have been offshore many times before, or this is your first time and want to try it out, they’ll accommodate anyone.

You’ll be fishing from a 32’ Priority offshore sport fishing boat with all the newest electronics and fishing equipment. It fits 5 people comfortably but can accommodate up to 6 people. Boat has plenty of shade and an enclosed cabin with a bathroom. The boat is equipped with
outriggers ideal for trolling for pelagic fish species along with downriggers, yeti fish ice cooler, and live bait well. You can play your favorite tunes on the sound system while enjoying the spectacular scenery!

If you have kids, the crew will ensure to take their time and teach them the proper way to get them hooked up! Bring on the trip whatever you want to eat or drink for the day. There’s a cooler with clean ice on the boat, but if you have your own cooler, that’s fine too. Beer is ok but please, no hard liquor. Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, a towel, and zip-lock bags for fish fillets are also good things to bring. A 15–20% gratuity is customary and greatly appreciated.

Catch Dog Sport Fishing operates out of Port Canaveral, FL, right behind Grills Seafood Restaurant, one hour east of Orlando. Upon returning to the dock, if you wish, the restaurant will cook your catch for an extra cost. Talk about super fresh seafood! The captain will call the day before your trip between 5–8 p.m. to talk about the game plan.

Let’s go fishing and get you hooked! The Catch Dog crew is looking forward to making great memories and catching fish with you!

Shark-Infested Waters
4 Hour Trip – Nearshore Shark (AM) on May 7, 20252 adults
Attention thrill seekers and sport-fishing enthusiasts… this is the one. The Catch Dog fishing charter is legit and Captain Robbie is an excellent guide. Everything from the boat to the conversations and vibes were absolutely on point. Not to mention… the fishing! My dad and I signed up for nearshore shark fishing and we caught three blacktip and three hammerhead sharks - all between 5-6 feet and weighing in around 100 pounds. It made for some of the coolest pictures we’ve ever taken, the best memories we ever made, and pure adrenaline rushes fighting these beasts all the way onto the boat. Without a doubt, worth every penny period.

His knowledge of the water and fishing spots is unmatched—he kept the fish biting all day long! Whether you’re an experienced angler or just out for fun, Captain Ronnie brings the perfect mix of professionalism, fun, and Southern charm. We couldn’t have asked for a better captain or experience. Good day with Catch Dog
7 Hour Trip – Offshore on April 15, 20254 adults
This was our first off shore fishing trip ever, and Captain Ron was great. Ron was friendly, helpful hardworking, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The boat and gear were is good shape and well cared for. Today may not have been the best day fish, we heard over the radio many of the other captains had troubles with the wind and choppy water but we did get 3 keepers. There is a reason it’s called fishing not catching. Anyway it wasn’t from a lack of effort from Ron, communicating with other captains for hot spots, had us try different tactics & gear, and he was always ready to get you a line back in the water. The 4 of us had a great time, well 3 of us did my daughter slept in a beanbag chair the whole time. We very much enjoyed our day with captain Ron.
