If you're ready to discover fishing in Panama City, book a trip with Reel Addiction 2 charters. With Captain James at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Amberjack, Red Snapper, Hamour Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Bull Shark, and more inhabit these waters if you cast your line at the right time of year.
On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. James can also take you Flounder gigging.
Capt. James is happy to have kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You'll be welcome aboard a 25' Center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
You can't go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Reel Addiction 2 charters! Up to 6 people for the price of the trip!

She provided us with humor, care and concern. We laughed the entire trip (I wasn’t fishing). My son got seasick and she cared for him like he was her own child. We had an amazing trip… I can’t wait to do it again. Everything was more than we expected it to be! If we ever do it again we will definitely choose Mr. James, his awesome deckhand and Reel Addiction 2. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us.

Jim and Abby have excellent personalities and we're very accommodating to my back and leg issues. They immediately seated me and had me fishing. We all had a great experience and fun time. They had great equipment and bait.They got us to where the fish were biting. We caught around 45 fish (22 keepers by law) Can't wait to book with them again!! Thank you for a wonderful experience, we will not forget it!!

Captain Jim, and his deck hand we're on top of things. When I booked the trip, I didn't realize I booked it on Father's Day. In the description, we stated that I wanted to catch a shark and Captain Jim made it happen. I can check it off. My bucket list! His deck hand on the boat made sure we had bait on our hooks at all time. I highly recommend booking with them you will not regret it!

The pinnacle of the trip was catching “Tom” the red snapper which was a record for the boat at 34 inches who was got us more than enougu filets for our group of guys. The trip was an absolute blast and I’d highly recommend anyone who want a good time to go out on this charter!

OFF-SEASON SPECIAL 4HR AM!!!!!!! on February 28, 2026 • 4 adultsWe had a great trip with Captain James and his first mate Jason. They got us on fish five mnutes from the dock in the bay. All four of us caught fish pretty continuously for the first 25 minutes, and we ventured out to the Gulf where we continued to catch more fish at each stop. We caught Sand Perch, Red Snapper, TriggerFish, and Grouper. Captain James and first mate Jason were friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating to all of us on the boat. They made our trip a great memorable experience.

Rather than canceling he recommended we finished the day off in the bay fishing for spanish. Money well spent, everyone ended up having a great time.

We had a great trip with Captain James and First Mate Abby! A storm came through and messed up the offshore conditions, so we had to stay in the bay. Captain James was completely transparent about the weather and gave us the option to cancel for a full refund, but we decided to go out anyway—and we’re so glad we did. Even with the change of plans, we had an absolute blast and made fantastic family memories. James and Abby took great care of us, kept things fun, and ran a top-notch trip. If we’re ever back in Panama, we will definitely be booking with them again!

Between 5 guys caught they brought home 12 Red Snapper. first time fishing for 3 of the guys so it was so much fun! good for people who have never fished before. appreciated Captains call at 5am to call off fishing due to a big storm coming in and rescheduled for another day and great that the weather was good when they fished. i know one of the guys caught a hammerhead shark most likely. it was so strong and broke the line. it was a great experience for all of our crew!!

Hello, I am Captain Jim Walker. I run Reel Addiction 2 Charters. I am originally from Ellijay, GA. My wife Teresa and I sold our chicken farm after 22 years and moved to our beach house. I love fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. I have been fishing in the Panama City Beach area since the late '70s. I worked for the Port Authority for 10 years and I have since retired to make memories with kids and families in the charter business!
