Hurricane Fishing Charters welcomes kids aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You'll be casting lines from a 23' Key West bay boat with space for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is not allowed.

We had an absolutely AMAZING experience with Hurricane Fishing Charters and Captain Mark! This trip was me, my son, and two of his friends, and it turned into one of those memories we’ll be talking about for a long time. Captain Mark was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and made the entire trip fun from start to finish. We caught all kinds of fish including Pin Fish, Snapper, Red Fish, Sheepshead, Drum, and several other species throughout the day. The action was nonstop, and Captain Mark made sure everyone was having a great time and learning along the way. Captain Mark is the best! It was a birthday celebration for my 10 year old nephew who has been fishing a few times, but never caught a fish. Captain Mark patiently taught us all to fish and my nephew beamed from ear to ear as he reeled in a boat load that day. we enjoyed the day and a bountiful fish dinner! I’d recommend Captain Mark for all your charter needs!
