Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Jack Crevalle, Snook, Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel, Bonnethead Shark, Ladyfish, Tarpon, and more inhabit these waters if conditions are right.
On the day of your trip, you're likely to drift using light tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there's bowfishing.
Hurricane Fishing Charters welcomes kids aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You'll be casting lines from a 23' Key West bay boat with space for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is not allowed.

We had an absolutely AMAZING experience with Hurricane Fishing Charters and Captain Mark! This trip was me, my son, and two of his friends, and it turned into one of those memories weβll be talking about for a long time. Captain Mark was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and made the entire trip fun from start to finish. We caught all kinds of fish including Pin Fish, Snapper, Red Fish, Sheepshead, Drum, and several other species throughout the day. The action was nonstop, and Captain Mark made sure everyone was having a great time and learning along the way. Captain Mark is the best! It was a birthday celebration for my 10 year old nephew who has been fishing a few times, but never caught a fish. Captain Mark patiently taught us all to fish and my nephew beamed from ear to ear as he reeled in a boat load that day. we enjoyed the day and a bountiful fish dinner! Iβd recommend Captain Mark for all your charter needs!

Captain Mark provided a great experience for my family of six! We caught tons of fish: red fish, mangrove snapper, jacks, sheepshead, and more! He knows his stuff and heβs funny to boot. Highly recommend!!
Captain Mark Robbins was outstanding! Got me & wife on a school of Mangrove Snappers, then nice size Snook. Later, more snappers and nice size Redfish! Fish all morning, and many spots. Nice boat, and a true Fisherman.
