Tailin’ Spots Fishing Charters invites you on a shallow water adventure out of Hastings, Florida. The charter is operated by Captain Keith Waldron, a St Augustine native who has been fishing the inshore and nearshore waters of Northeast Florida since he was a child. Having acquired extensive knowledge of fishing the intracoastal waterways along with all its creeks, inlets, and flats, Captain Keith is sure to put you on the best fish this area has to offer.

Fishing St Augustine waters will allow you to target a number of delicious species which are also fun to catch. Redfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Tarpon, Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, and more. You will mostly be using light tackle and trolling techniques which Captain Keith can teach you if you are a beginner.

The fishing will be done aboard a 23-foot Action Craft center console originally built in 2005. It is powered by a 250 HP Evinrude engine and has a capacity for up to 4 guests. The vessel contains all the safety equipment including life jackets and a CPR-trained crew. There is also a GPS, a fishfinder, and a VHF radio on board.

Tailin’ Spots Fishing Charters offers half day inshore trips and provides all the fishing gear you need for a productive day. That includes rods, reels, tackle, baits, and a fishing license. No need to bring a cooler as bottled water and ice are provided. Just bring your snacks, sunscreen, and a camera to show off your catch. Captain Keith will make every effort to ensure that every guest’s needs are met. Anglers of all skill levels and children are welcome.

Captain Keith is an avid fisherman and participates in many local tournaments. His passion for fishing has led him on many fishing ventures from the Pacific to Atlantic oceans. He's fished many places including Alaska, Costa Rica, the Florida Keys, and both the East and West Coasts of Florida. Captain Keith is a St Augustine native and has been fishing the inshore and nearshore waters of Northeast Florida since he was a child. He has acquired extensive knowledge of fishing the intracoastal waterways along with its creeks, inlets, and flats. The fishing techniques he has developed over the years have consistently brought his charter customers a very high success rate.
