Depending on conditions, you might hook into Redfish, Speckled Trout, Snook, Flounder, Pompano, African Pompano Jack, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Blacktip Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Bull Shark, Tiger Shark, and who knows what else! On these trips, it's common to drift and bottom fish using light tackle.
Local Slayer is a child-friendly charter service, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
You'll be dropping lines from a 25' Scandy-White skiff that holds up to 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water.
Capt. Daniel will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's recommended to bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Not only did we catch fish, we laughed, swapped stories and made new friends. The experience was worth every penny, which wasn't expensive to begin with. We plan on making this a monthly event and looking forward to chatting it up with Captain Dan and mate Steve, and of course hopefully catching fish.

You will too have fun for a fabulous price he did a great job! The captain Danny or Daniel sorry I forgot. Put us on the fish in multiple locations my husband caught over a dozen I caught 3 but caught the biggest i think lol or that’s my fish story we were able to keep 3 but we passed them on to someone for dinner.

When we got back our fish were cleaned and fileted and bagged up for us. Our trout was very tasty. Would recommend him to anyone looking for a great day fishing.

Everything was a great fishing trip.
Steven was a fantastic guide! He was experienced, knowledgeable, and very personable. We caught six keeper trout and several other fish that we released. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend him!
We caught 3 species of sharks, toadfish, catfish, pinfish and trout; sadly we didn’t bring any home because we declined to keep the sharks and the rest were too small. Steve was very attentive and had a great sense of humor.
Had a great time fishing! The Captain was very knowledgeable and made the trip memorable.
