Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 27' Baha Cruiser with room for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. Don't forget to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Capt Derek and his co-captain Larry were super knowledgable and a great time to hang around with, not to mention the 8 monster lake trout we caught with their killer setup. Would recommend to anyone looking for good lake fishing. Will be back when up here again.
Insane afternoon on the lake with 8 fish on the boat! 3 species caught chinook, lake trout and brown trout . the Captain and the crew are really pro and super nice ! A must have experience
Captain Derek is a great captain to have for a fishing trip. It was our first time fishing on Lake Ontario and boy, Captain Derek nor the lake disappointed us. His boat is spacious and equipment used top of the line. We caught salmon and lake trout that were easily over 11 lbs. Had a blast of a good time with great tunes and conversation with Captain Derek. I would highly recommend Chasin” Silver Charter for your next fishing adventure!!
