Book your next trip with Jammer Sportfishing and find out what you're missing in Rochester.

Species like Chinook Salmon, Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Coho Salmon, Atlantic Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), and more could be biting, depending on when you go. On these trips, you can expect to troll using artificial lures or possibly cut bait.

Capt. Jeff welcomes children aboard, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children under 14 must wear life vests which are available on board. Bring your own snacks and drinks in your cooler which you'll use to bring your catch home.

Capt. Jeff welcomes you aboard a 31' Tiara Open that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, tackle, lures, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your comfort.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It's customary to tip 15 - 20% to show your appreciation.

Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a New York fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is available online, or you can ask Captain Jeff. It's always wise to bring bottled water and soft drinks, sunblock (non-spray), hats and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but please avoid glass bottles. No smoking on board.

The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Jammer Sportfishing!

Unbelievably Amazing 1st time experience
Half Day Trip (AM) on August 12, 20264 adults2 children

Greg and Jeff’s communication, knowledge, and patience throughout the entire trip were amazing and reassuring. They made the experience fun, comfortable, and enjoyable from start to finish. They had everything we needed to make the trip successful and memorable. We caught a lot of fish, ranging from 10–20 pounds! They also cleaned and packed the fish we wanted to keep, which made everything so easy. All we needed to bring was a cooler and some snacks—everything else was provided. Overall, it was an amazing experience for my family and me. We had a great time, made wonderful memories, and will definitely be back!

Multiple trips with Captain Jeff
Full Day Trip on July 31, 2026

I've taken 5 trips with Captain Jeff over the last 3 years, with 2 different groups of guys. Each trip has been a great time and everyone has returned for multiple trips - and plan to continue doing so. Captain Jeff is knowledgeable, entertaining, and hard working, as are his various first mates. They are passionate about making sure everyone has an enjoyable, successful day. 4 of the 5 trips have seen very active fishing - everyone limited out on two of them (mostly salmon with a few steelhead), and close on the other two. The 5th trip was well outside typical active salmon season, and the captain and mate worked hard that day to find other fish and still make the day successful. The boat is very nice and easily accommodates 6 adults for a full day trip. We highly recommend Jammer Fishing!

Best charter to date!
Half Day Trip (AM) on July 26, 20264 adults

This is our second trip too late Ontario salmon fishing with a charter. Our first trip was a great experience. We caught a lot of fish. However this trip was even better we caught 12 fish a 16ld, 15 ld, 14ld King Salmon and the other 10 were all nice fish. We also landed 2 lake trout and a brown trout which were also very nice. Captain Jeff and the first meet Greg were very experienced and very helpful. They kept us on the fish and we're very patient with educating as well. I will recommend this Charter to anyone interested. We are already planning a trip next year. We will be happy to see Captain Jeff and First Mate Greg again. This was a action packed 5 hour charter. We highly recommend Jammer Sport Fishing.

Great experience!
Half Day Trip (AM) on June 21, 20264 adults

Captain Jeffrey and his first mate, Matthew (the Captain's son) were excellent. They were very professional, friendly, stressed safety, and were a wealth of knowledge. Some people in our party had little to no fishing experience and the crew were very thorough in describing how all the equipment and lures worked, as well describing the "science" of fishing. We only landed 2 out of 5 fish, but there had been many storms recently, including a small craft advisory with very large waves, for 3 days prior to our trip, that likely disrupted the lake and impacted the catch. The cabin boat was in good shape and having a flushing head was a plus. Overall, it was a very positive experience and we plan to book another trip with Captain Jeffrey.

We enjoyed having you and your family on board for a fun Father’s Day excursion. The day after a big blow is always a challenge. Thanks for recognizing that and looking forward to the next trip together. See you then!
