Depending on conditions, you might hook into Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Crappie and whatever else thats willing to bite. On these trips, it's common to use light tackle for all targeted species. However, heavier gear is usually needed to target bigger largemouth bass.
Your trip begins aboard an 18' Bass boat with room for 2 passengers. It has all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are included. Live bait such as worms, crickets, and minnows will be included if needed. Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online at Outdoor Alabama under fishing license.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and a hat. Drinks and light snacks can be stored in the boats cooler. Alcohol and tobacco products are not permitted. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
