Jeremy Smith specializes in fishing the waters around Pensacola and invites you along for a trip to remember.

You won't be far from inshore and backcountry waters, including a few honey holes that only the locals can clue you in on. Around here, it's common to go light tackle fishing, which is how you'll get acquainted with these waters. You can also do a bit of spinning, popping, and maybe more your guide wants to show you. Jeremy will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and live bait.

These waters are known for various species of Sharks, Pompano, Jack Crevalle, Whiting, Redfish, Black Drum, Permit, Bluefish, Dogfish, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before 'Fish on!' Jeremy will have some snacks and drinks for you. This is a kid-friendly experience, so feel free to bring the whole family along and pack any extras they need.

Fish within size and bag limits are yours to keep. Jeremy will even clean your catch for you so it's ready to fry up at home. Have a cooler ready in the car! You're welcome to bring up to 6 anglers on this guided experience. You'll be fishing without a boat, so expect to make your way on foot at least part of the time and come dressed for current weather conditions.

Be sure to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group ahead of time. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Be sure to dress in layers and suitable footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, ask your guide). It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen, bottled water, and sunglasses in any weather conditions.
