Nanticoke Outfitters Charter Fishing is always child-friendly, so get them offline and onto the water! Captain Dave has 5 sons of his own, so he's been fishing with kids on a regular basis for the last 20+ years! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, no worries because we have some on board. And you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Your boat for the day is a 26' Custom designed MayCraft center console with space for 6 passengers. We are running a 2024 Suzuki 350hp Outboard Motor with new upholstery, new canvas, and new electronics! You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with bait. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up and fish!
The First Mate (Frank) will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 20% to show your appreciation. Keep in mind that some fish may have size limits or closed seasons. We will help you follow regulations when you fish.
Depending on the trip you select, we will be focused on catching the target species and if they just aren't biting that day or during that particular time of the day, Capt. Dave & Frank will come up with some other ideas in effort to find some fish for you to enjoy hooking into! Sometimes even the best made plans get ruined by things out of our control. We always have a back up plan!
Essentials to bring are sunblock, a hat, drinks, snacks, and sunglasses. Water bottles are included, free of charge, and we have an ice chest filled with ice ready for your food and drinks. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. NO hard liquor, glass bottles, or bananas!

Back Bay & Near Shore Fishing (7AM)
Good day on the Bay
We purchased a Bay/Inshore 5hr trip. Unfortunately the conditions on the ocean were not great especially given we had 4 young kids, but Captain Dave alerted us the night before and gave us the option of canceling. We went forward with trip, just sticking to the bay. Capt Dave and First Mate Frank were great, very thorough with all the protocols, etc. Frank was on all the boys lines and they never waited to get bait and a line back in the water. We caught about 15 fish total. Boat was immaculate as well. Would def book again and hope the conditions allow for some inshore, etc trips.

Great first day out on the boat
We fished the early afternoon. Everyone caught something, but only one keeper. Captain Dave really worked hard to get us into the fish, moving multiple times to find some action. First Mate Frank had us ready at all times, baiting hooks and fixing snags and retrying lines when needed. I took four of my kids on the fishing trip and Captain Dave and Frank were great with them, teaching and helping while providing great conversation the whole trip. We didn’t even make it to the car and the kids were already talking about wanting to get up at 5am to go out again with Captain Dave to really get into the fish! Very good family atmosphere with the private charter. I can’t imagine having a better experience out on the water. We’ll be out with Captain Dave the next time we are back in town for sure. Many yhanks Nanticoke Outfitters, First Mate Frank and most importantly Captain Dave for giving us an experience we will never forget!

This was the first time both of my children had been fishing. Captain Dave and his first mate Frank were knowledgeable, patient and super kind to our family. They knew exactly where to go to catch fish and taught my kids everything they needed to know. They took care of everything, I would HIGHLY recommend this trip for experienced as well as novice anglers and everyone in between. Perfect for all ages! This was our second time fishing with Captain Dave and Frank and we had an amazing time again!!! They are so friendly and just amazing with our 3 children and also very knowledgeable about the water and the area. We fished the early afternoon. Everyone caught something, but only one keeper. Captain Dave really worked hard to get us into the fish, moving multiple times to find some action.
