Catch Snook, Tarpon, Mangrove Snapper, Goliath Grouper, Blacktip Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Nurse Shark, Redfish, and more are in the cards if conditions are right. You can expect to do some spinning or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. AUSTIN also offers fly fishing on the flats or backcountry.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You'll be dropping lines from a 19' Skiff with space for 3 passengers. It comes with everything else you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. AUSTIN will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
A few items to bring include bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
You will need to provide your own flordia fishing license.

Awesome fishing trip!!

Austin was great. Super friendly and shared his knowledge of the waters and species. He helped me cast better and was a great teacher in what to do. We caught ~20 fish, one was 29”. We kept 7 due to size and regulations. I highly recommend and will book a trip with him again next time we’re in the area. He also filleted our catch and we had them for dinner over the next two days! We also reeled in a huge tarpon at the dock for fun - a 150lb fish. Highly recommend.

I went with my son and a couple of his friends not really expecting too much, but Captain Austin brought us to places where the mangrove snapper were biting as soon as we threw the lines in. we did the 4-Hour trip but the time went by so quick we decided next time we'll probably do a 6 or 8 hour trip with him. he also filled the fish when we got back. well worth the money and don't forget to tip the captain. Also he knows more than most people about the area and the locations that are best for fishing.
