Coast Runner Outfitters
Apalachicola has a fish with your name on it, so let Coast Runner Outfitters help you catch it! Captain Steve will be your guide, bringing aboard years of local experience.
Top targets include Tripletail, Red Snapper, Gag Grouper, Redfish, Tarpon, Cobia, Flounder, Black Drum, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Blacktip Shark, Pompano, Spotted Seatrout, and more if conditions allow.
During the trip, you might be spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Donny can also take you Flounder gigging. For the more adventurous among you, there’s bowfishing.
Coast Runner Outfitters is a kid-friendly charter service, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You’ll find yourself aboard a 23’ Epic bay boat with space for 6 passengers. It has downriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It’s never a bad idea to bring sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Coast Runner Outfitters!
**typically fishing cleaning is covered in cost of trip. For special requests let us know before trip to, for an added cost and if time permitts we can arrange it**

Captain Steve was the man with the plan. We hooked a huge tarpon (about 100-120 pound roughly) that even had captain impressed. I reeled it in for about 15 minutes and I’ve never been so exhausted from fishin in my life. It felt like I just went to the gym and hit upper body! That alone made the trip. Once in a lifetime oppurtunity for sure. Beautful sunset on the way back to top it off.

heck yeah!!! hooking into a tarpon and getting to fight itnfor that long is awesome!! glad everyone had a great time, thanks for booking with us! we cant wait to do it again!!!
we had a great time! caught tons of fish and were able to have a fish fry. great captain and great insight on where the fish would be. everyone on our trip caught a fish!

thank you, Kelsey for the review! We are so glad that you and your group had a great time fishing with Captain Steve. Hopefully we can take you all out on another trip sometime.
Captain Steve worked hard to put us on fish and ensure we had a great time. I caught 3 grouper 1 big enough to keep. would definitely recommend and will return again!

Thank you Melissa! We are glad you all had a wonderful time and caught some grewt fish! We look foward to taking you all out again next time!
Started inshore in the morning. Nothing was biting, Capt Steve made decision to head a little offshore. withing minutes we were on them! Ended up with over 35 fish! Spanish mackerel, grey snapper, and seabass. Taking them down to Carabelle to a local restaurant to have them for dinner.

Captain Steve is the man! we are so happy that you guys had a blast and caught some really incredible fish for dinner!

Caught our limit of Red Grouper and 35+ additional keepers of different types. Also caught a 20 lb red Snapper that was released because it was out of season. An overall great trip beginning to end. I would highly recommend a trip with this outfit. I certainly hope to go with them again.

Thank you so much! I had a blast with the three of you! Next time lets go catch some mahi and red snapper!
