Hoping to catch some fish in Biloxi? Southern Sports Fishing is your ticket! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Johnny can tell you all about the local fishery.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Speckled Trout, Redfish, Blacktip Shark, Flounder, Jack Crevalle, Catfish, and whatever else takes the bait. On these trips, it’s common to fish using light tackle. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Bring your cooler to take the cleaned fish!
Capt. Johnny welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. It’s never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Drinks and snacks will be available for you, but you’re welcome to bring your own too. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Just be sure to avoid glass bottles.
Your Mothership (The VI) carries 6 skiffs for the 2-3 day trip with space for 12 passengers. It has all the essentials! There are semi-private staterooms with private bathrooms on board for your convenience. Rods and reels are not covered by the charter, so ask the captain about bringing your own. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.
You will need to buy a Louisiana 3-day fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Your trip with Southern Sports Fishing is just a click away, so why not make it happen?
