You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
You’ll be casting lines from a 12’ Walkaround with capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with and all the essentials. You will be provided rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
