Overproof Charter Fishing 

Spend the day with Overproof Charter Fishing and experience our beautiful and bountiful Bermuda waters. Overproof is considered one of the top charter boats and tournament winners in Bermuda. Captain Peter has been chartering in Bermuda for more than 25 years. This is our 5th Overproof vessel, and you will surely enjoy her speed and comfort. Same great Captain and mate, just a new boat.

You’ll target your catch by trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Peter also offers kite fishing. Around here, fishing is popular for Wahoo, Blue Marlin, Amberjack, Blackfin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, White Marlin, and more with any luck.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 51’ Topaz Sportfish with a capacity for 6 passengers. It is fitted with high-end electronics and top-shelf gear along with the Rupp outriggers, downriggers, a Bluewater fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary. Due to the increasing cost of fuel, there may be a fuel surcharge applied to the price of your trip. For 6-hour trips, the fuel surcharge is $75. For 8-hour trips, it is $125.

You can’t go wrong when you bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. The "catch" is the property of the boat. However, Capt. Peter will share some fish with you to take home and enjoy a fresh fish dinner.
