Make an adventure out of your next trip to North Myrtle Beach and go fishing with Captain Scotty’s Fishing Charters II.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Flounder, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, Redfish, Black Drum, and plenty more. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You’ll find yourself aboard a 22’ Carolina Skiff bay boat with room for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Capt. Scotty will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It’s recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Great trip
We had a great time Dusty was great. Would highly recommend him. My little girl asked him a thousand questions and he would answer her and he let her help with the bait which made the trip for her. Thank for a great experience

July fishing trip
Dustin was a great captain. He allowed us to enjoy fishing and was helpful. From the beginning he was there for us to have a good trip. We were able to catch an inland grand slam during the trip and he cleaned all our keeper fish.

Great time with kids
Captain Dustin was a great leader for the three kids I took out with him (ages 7, 9, and 10). Fish weren't really biting, but we still had a good time reeling in some small ones and one skate. Dustin patiently taught the kids how to properly cast, and entertained them with a lesson on how to operate and steer a boat. A great guy--I would definitely go out with him again!

Carolina slam
Took my little girl out and had a blast. She caught the Carolina slam. Every fish was out of slot due to their size. The money spent on watching her fight those fish was worth ten times the value. Can not wait til next year to do it again. Trying for the grand slam next yr

What a blast!
Captain Dustin was awesome. He took us to all of the hot spots and we caught fish for 4 hrs straight. Very knowledgeable and professional. Would highly recommend.
