If you’re in the market for a professional, guided, land-based fishing experience near Bolivar Peninsula, look no further than ZFG Outfitters. Here you won’t be far from nearshore waters, including some spots that only a local can show you.

Depending on the season, you might hook into Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Whiting, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, Blacktip Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Bull Shark, Lemon Shark, Jack Crevalle, Pompano, Flounder, and plenty more. You’ll be fishing from the shore, so there’s no need to worry about seasickness.

Any keeper fish caught during the trip is yours to take with you. Johnny can also clean your catch for you, so it’s hassle-free when you get home. Have a cooler ready in the car! Up to 15 anglers can join these excursions. You’ll make your way to the fishing grounds on foot, so be sure to dress for current weather conditions and bring only as much as you can carry.

Expect to get in touch with Johnny before the trip so you know where to meet and how to get there. Your fishing license for the day is not included, so members of your group may need to buy one. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply.

You’re encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear (if you aren’t sure what that means, just ask). It’s never a bad idea to bring snacks, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen, no matter the weather. This is a kid-friendly experience, so feel free to bring ‘em along and pack any extras they need.
