Spend the day with Coastal Texas Fishing Charters and let them show you what makes the fishing in Aransas Pass so memorable! With Captain Lee at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Black Drum, Redfish, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, Flounder, and anything else that bites. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, popping, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned.
Trips with Coastal Texas Fishing Charters are child-friendly, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. A few items to bring include snacks, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be water and Gatorade on board. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
You’ll find yourself aboard a 23’ Center console with room for 3 passengers. Capt. Lee will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself. You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.

1/2 Day Trip Afternoon
Unforgettable Day on the Water with Capt. David!
Our family of four—my wife, our two boys (12 and 15), and I—had an unforgettable trip with Capt. David. He put us right on the monster Reds! My wife and I both tagged out with fish over 28”, including a beast that measured 33”. It’s not a bad day when you’re having to release another giant Red because you’ve already hit your limit. Capt. David was not only extremely knowledgeable about the area but also very patient and instructional, especially with our boys. He made the experience enjoyable, educational, and fun for all of us. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to book another trip with him. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking to land some big fish and make great memories!

Five Stars – Great Time on the Water Had the pleasure of fishing with Captain David Lee out of Port Aransas, and it was an experience well worth talking about. From start to finish, David was professional, knowledgeable, and made sure we were in the right spots at the right time. We ended up landing six massive reds—including two impressive bulls—which made for an unforgettable day. David kept things smooth and dialed in the whole time. He clearly knows these waters and how to read the fish. If you’re looking for a solid trip with someone who truly puts in the work without making a big show of it, David’s your guy. Can’t recommend him enough. We’ll be back.

Half Day Trip Morning
Great time for the whole family !
We had a great time fishing with Captain David today. We caught a huge black drum along with a slot red early in the morning. Some other smaller fish throughout the day, but everyone had a great time. He was easy to contact and answer any questions I had, and was exactly where he said he would be in the morning. We even fished for more than five hours! He filleted our fish for us, and we are looking forward to enjoying our catch for dinner. He had some great tips to help us all become better fisherman, I would definitely go out with Captain David again!

Half Day Trip Morning
Great day on the water.
We had a great day on the water with Captain David Lee. He was very accommodating and patient with the kids. We fished a few different spots, and really enjoyed the boat ride. Captain David communicated throughout the booking process and was early for our departure. He even cleaned and cut up the fish we caught so we can cook it up. Overall we had an awesome time with Captain David and we look forward yo booking another trip with him some day. 10/10 recommend.

Capt David Lee - Very Good Guide and Person
It's easy to write a great review when you limit-out in two hours, but even if it would have been a slow or even a "no-bite" kind of day, I would still give Capt David Lee a 5-Star review. Here is why: 1. He is very kind, communicates well, has a great demeanor. 2. Very helpful to my Wife in teaching Angling retrieval technique. 3. David knows what he is doing and is an alert navigator to those other boats that might not be. 4. He can read the water well both cruising and for spotting cuts, holes, sand bars and grass beds. 5. Just plain fun to fish with. Give him a try and you will also have an enjoyable trip. Thanks Tom R.
