If you're ready to enjoy fishing in Traverse City, we've got you covered with Osprey Fishing of Michigan. Captain Chris will be your guide, offering years of experience fishing the Grand Traverse Bay and local inland lakes.

Customized fishing trips are available with the client's preference or the best seasonal species. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned.

May and June provide fantastic Lake Trout and Cisco fishing. Jigging and casting with light tackle is the preferred method, with good numbers of hard-fighting fish!

Salmon Trolling is also available with downriggers and a full array of trolling gear beginning in August through September!

The October Cisco bite and water side color tour is fantastic!

Trips with Osprey Fishing of Michigan are great for kids, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Inland trips for Walleye, Bass, and Bluegills are available. The inland lakes provide great fishing. All fishing gear is provided, but feel free to bring your own if you wish. Live bait is included when necessary.

There's a 20% discount for active military, law enforcement, and first responders (with ID).

Captain Chris was very impressive with his knowledge. He was very kind to me and my son while we were with him on the boat. Capt. Chris was also very patient with my son and helped him catch a bunch of fish. I would recommend anyone looking for a genuine fishing experience with a genuine person, I would highly recommend Osprey Fishing of Michigan!

Father and Son trip

Half Day – Inland Lake (AM) on May 13, 2026 • 2 adults

Early in the year but Chris put us on fish first stop. My son brought in the first laker of the day. Water temps still cold fish were finicky eaters but we still hit limit. Great time with patient, knowledgeable Captain would recommend highly for families and experienced anglers.

Awesome experience for beginners or the advanced!

Our group of three had an absolute amazing experience with Chris as our guide! He was very patient and knowledgeable about area. He also was super flexible with weather conditions and made sure we got our moneys worth! Between the three of us we caught 10 lake trout in total and kept 6. I would highly recommend Chris for any of your Traverse city chartering needs!

Great Trip

Had a great day out! Captain was very friendly & accommodating. We caught plenty of nice walleye, (my daughter caught her 5 fish limit, I caught 3 I think with one around 20-21”). As well as a lot of nice size perch. Daughter also caught 2 nice size bass.would recommend Osprey anytime!
