If you're ready to enjoy fishing in Traverse City, we've got you covered with Osprey Fishing of Michigan. Captain Chris will be your guide, offering years of experience fishing the Grand Traverse Bay and local inland lakes.
Customized fishing trips are available with the client's preference or the best seasonal species. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned.
May and June provide fantastic Lake Trout and Cisco fishing. Jigging and casting with light tackle is the preferred method, with good numbers of hard-fighting fish!
Salmon Trolling is also available with downriggers and a full array of trolling gear beginning in August through September!
The October Cisco bite and water side color tour is fantastic!
Trips with Osprey Fishing of Michigan are great for kids, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Inland trips for Walleye, Bass, and Bluegills are available. Chris was very knowledgeable and friendly. His boat was small but could get around well, a good size for my daughter and me. He was communicating with other charter captains to get feedback on where the fish were biting and took us to several spots. He was able to keep us on fish using his fish finding equipment, and although they weren't always biting I think he set us up for the best chances, even staying out longer than scheduled to give my daughter more opportunities. He allowed her to reel in all our keepers (we caught the limit on trout including a 9 pounder) and filleted everything back at the marina. Would definitely recommend to smaller groups (up to 3), might try an inland trip next time.

Captain Chris was very impressive with his knowledge. He was very kind to me and my son while we were with him on the boat. Capt. Chris was also very patient with my son and helped him catch a bunch of fish. I would recommend anyone looking for a genuine fishing experience with a genuine person, I would highly recommend Osprey Fishing of Michigan!

I caught a walleye, a few rock bass, some bluegills, a largemouth bass, and a lot of perch. The captain was great, and helped me learn how to unhook the fish and how to hold them. This trip would be great for anyone who is beginner all the way to advanced, he knew all the spots to go to.

Early in the year but Chris put us on fish first stop. My son brought in the first laker of the day. Water temps still cold fish were finicky eaters but we still hit limit. Great time with patient, knowledgeable Captain would recommend highly for families and experienced anglers.

Captain Chris was very personable and had a lot of knowledge. He consistently kept us on fish and adjusted when the bite slowed down. We caught our limit and threw a few back. We had a great time celebrating our sons 13th birthday!
