There’s a fish with your name on it in Port Aransas and Reel High Outfitters will help you catch it! With Captain Joshua at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.

You can hook into Cobia, Flounder, Kingfish, Redfish, Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, and Speckled Trout, depending on the time of year.
On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Reel High Outfitters is a kid-friendly charter service, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

Your vessel for the day is a 21’ Cajun center console with room for 5 passengers. It has all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don’t leave home without a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
