You’ll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Capt. Aaron will bring you aboard a 16’ Bass boat that holds up to 3 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water.
Capt. Aaron will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures.
Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s always wise to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Awesome fishing trip!
Booked a trip for my son (both novice fishers), Aaron said not to worry he can teach anyone to fish! And he certainly delivered, we caught 8 Bass and had a fantastic time! He was a great guide, friendly and full of knowledge. The location is beautiful and we hope he’s still offering trips when we next visit. Thank you Aaron!

Great Three Days!
This was the third day of my trip with Aaron. He was awesome throughout. Got us onto some great locations. The last day was a bit disappointing only because the lack of shiners available in the area and the choppy waters. This is no one’s fault, just unfortunate. He took us into done river fishing to stay out of the wind which was cool too. Still great to be on the water and enjoy Aaron’s enthusiasm for fishing. I will definitely be booking with Erschen Outdoors next time I’m in town!

Amazing
This was day two of three days I was spending with Aaron. Today we had shiners that he was able to get for our trip. Right from the start we were hooking into some great bass. Aaron was very attentive. He set up the lines for me and every time we had one on, I was on the pole and away we went! We caught 16 fish in 2 1/2 hours! That includes a gar, a bowfin as well. It was a great morning.

Took mutiple trips out and Cpt Aaron delivered. Caught fish every time i went out there thanks to his knowledge of the lake and fishing techniques. would recommend to anyone wanting to catch their next PB
